The Studio. A new discovery and creation centre at the heart of the Louvre
Soon, the Louvre's workshops and training sessions will be held in the Studio, a brand new 1,200 square-metre space on Level -1 of the Richelieu wing, near the Petite Galerie and the permanent collections.Visitors can learn more about the museum's artworks and develop their own artistic skills by choosing from the wide range of activities on offer in the Forum reception and activity area or in the workshop rooms. The activities cater for everyone - families, school groups, students and professionals of all ages, disabled and disadvantaged visitors - and are included in the museum admission ticket.The Louvre is a place for artistic creation, open to all since 1793. Now more than ever, educational and social projects are central to its mission.
