Symposium “The Culture of Integration”

2018-11-11

EUNIC Cluster Athens is inviting you to the symposium "The Culture of Integration" which will take place on Thursday, 22 November 2018, 19.00 pm at the Telloglion Foundation of Arts (amphitheatre).

The "Culture of Integration" project has been a response to the refugee crisis; it financially supported five targeted actions in the fields of "libraries, education and the arts" with the aim to contribute to the social and cultural integration of the newly- arrived people as well as to support the local receiving communities in coping with the corresponding challenges. These actions were designed and implemented by civil society organisations upon selection and funding by EUNIC Athens. The results of these actions will be presented in the symposium as best practice examples aiming to raise awareness and to boost public dialogue on related issues.

The "Culture of Integration" project and final event have been co-organised by the Goethe-Institut Athen, the British Council, the House of Cyprus, the Austrian Embassy, the Norwegian Embassy, the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Hellenic Foundation of Culture.

The event and discussion sessions will be held in Greek.
