Marketing and Digital Engagement Assistant, Derby Museums
Derby Museums is looking for an enthusiastic communicator with a creative eye to help us deliver engaging communications as part of a dynamic team in the lead up to the launch of the new Museum of Making at the Silk Mill. You will support multiple projects, using digital and traditional media to connect with new and existing audiences and, with your knowledge of creative IT software, you will deliver engaging social media campaigns, create simple designs and provide marketing support across Derby Museums.
Conservator (Paintings) - Temporary, Glasgow Life
As Paintings Conservator you will work in the conservation team whose role is to maintain the physical care and conservation of the city's museum collection, the library's special collections and the city archives, which are held across the city's museum buildings and at the Mitchell Library. You will contribute to programmes of conservation work that enable safe use of the collections and to maintaining and developing conservation practice for the relevant collections.
Archives Project Assistants - Blythe House Project, V&A Museum
The Museum is now preparing for a major collections move from its current storage facility at Blythe House to a new Collections and Research Centre. This role will work with our Project Archivists (one full time, one part time) and our teams of curatorial and archival staff based at Blythe House, to prepare our internationally significant archival collections for the move.
Assistant Curator, Museum of Science and Industry
In this role, you will research, enhance and publish the data we hold about our collections, support specialist curators in reviewing and growing our collections, provide curatorial support to our contemporary science and learning programmes and work to improve the management and care of our collections.
Project Digitiser, Natural History Museum
The Natural History Museum Archives includes material that represents the history of the Museum to date and is a place of deposit under the Public Records Act. The Museum Archives is accredited under the National Archives Service Accreditation scheme. The purpose of this twelve month role is to assist with a time limited project to digitise fragile Museum Archives.
