Curator of Later Italian, Spanish and French Paintings

The National Gallery is looking for a Curator of Later Italian, Spanish and French Paintings. The curator seeks and recommends relevant new acquisitions and loans, and acts as the curatorial lead on exhibitions, collection displays and gallery refurbishment projects. The curator will participate in the Gallery's 'NG200' programme for its bicentenary in 2024, including 'The Main Event', 'National Treasures' and 'NG 200 for 200' projects. 

Senior Marketing Manager, THE ENGLISH HERITAGE TRUST 

We are looking for an experienced, innovative and strategic Senior Marketing Manager to lead our North and Midlands Marketing team and drive visitors to some of England's most iconic heritage sites from Hadrian's Wall to Kenilworth Castle and Audley End House.

This is an exciting role that will allow you to develop our marketing plans, oversee tactical delivery and shape our product and site development. You will be a senior member of the Visitor Marketing team and work closely with colleagues in our South, Stonehenge, Travel Trade and Education marketing teams, as well our central campaign planners.

Close working with our Content and Membership Marketing teams as well as our PR and Data and Insight teams ensures collaborative working and support from across the wider Marketing function.

You will be responsible for overseeing a team of Marketing Managers, Social and Content Execs and PR Managers who deliver engaging owned, earned and paid channel content and ensuring we achieve our ambitious visitor targets. You will help shape our national campaigns, have responsibility for visitor budgeting and forecasting, and help shape our site improvement schemes.

You will act as a key contact between the wider Marketing department and the site operational teams and Commercial and Curatorial contacts.

You will be based in our York office with the option of home or hybrid working. You will need to be able to travel to sites as needed, with occasional nights away from home.

Digital Engagement Manager, THE POSTAL MUSEUM 

The Postal Museum is one of the newest and most exciting museum in London. We opened in 2017 and have already established the museum as a must-visit destination with award-winning experiences and marketing campaigns. Alongside hands-on exhibitions exploring over 500 years of British social and communications history, visitors can experience a subterranean ride through the tunnels of the old Post Office Underground Railway - Mail Rail.

The museum welcomes over 160,000 visitors and our online content reaches almost a million users a year. We deliver award-winning learning, access and outreach programmes and provide unique experiences including popular Tunnel Walks under the streets of London. The museum also operates a children's playspace - Sorted - popular with young families and schools. Alongside all this we offer one of the most unique venues in London for corporate hire and filming locations.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This is a great opportunity to make your mark at a young museum at an exciting time in its development. The Marketing and Communications team is responsible for developing the museum's physical and online audiences through targeted campaigns, excellent online content, PR opportunities, brand development and online community management.

The Digital Engagement Manager leads on engaging our audiences through the end-to-end customer journey. This includes management of our web development agency, playing a leading editorial role in digital content and working closely with the Ticketing and Insights Manager to deliver the best experience for visitors. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, the role ensures that campaigns are integrated, tracked and analysed and that customer data is managed and used appropriately.

Crucially, the role works with teams across the museum to creatively showcase our unique experience and collection, our award-winning programmes and our exciting programme of exhibitions and events online.

The job holder can work predominantly remotely, working from the museum on average 1-2 days a week. There's great scope for development within the role, based on the skills and interests of the right candidate.

The post reports to the Head of Marketing and Communications and is responsible for the Designer/ Web Editor, who works closely with the Web Manager to deliver improvements to the website, manage Google Ads and deliver integrated, design-led campaigns.

Senior Learning Curator, Young Peoples Programmes

We are looking for a Senior Learning Curator, Young People's Programmes to lead an ambitious creative learning programme for diverse young audiences at Tate Britain and Tate Modern.

You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of young people's programmes and lead a team to develop innovative and high quality creative learning experiences for young people aged 15-30. You will contribute to embedding co-production practices with young people at Tate, and a holistic offer of public programme and digital communications for Tate Collective, Tate's free-to-join membership scheme for young people aged 16-25.

To be successful in the role you will have extensive experience of devising creative learning experiences with and for young people. You will have experience of leading a busy team, and working in complex environments with multiple teams and partners. You'll be a confident communicator and be able advocate for young peoples programmes and creative learning at Tate and beyond.
