Lead Metadata Manager

British Library is looking for someone to lead the final phase of cataloguing on the Unlocking Our Sound Heritage (UOSH) project and manage the follow on project, Audio Collection Preservation (ACP). UOSH has made it easier for people to discover and listen to audio archives by digitising and preserving over 300,000 sound recordings. The final phase of UOSH will focus on completion collections and sharing the lessons learnt. The APC project will take forward the preservation and cataloguing of at risk audio archives at the British Library.

Documentation Officer, Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council

In this role you will continually improve the documentation of Wirral's arts and museums collections to improve collections accessibility and support the development of the exhibition programme. 


Jean Curry Memorial Fellowship

The fellowship will be worth £22,500 per annum, pro rata for the nine month duration of the fellowship, and may not be held in conjunction with any other substantial maintenance grant. As well as the core salary, it offers over £4,000 in additional funding for research expenses and conference attendance. 

Assistant Curator of Invertebrate Paleontology or Paleobotany 

The Field Museum invites applications for an Assistant Curator in the fields of Invertebrate Paleontology or Paleobotany. This position has a renewal schedule of 3 + 3 years; after successful promotion to the Associate level it is renewable every 7 years. The start date for the position is on or after January 1, 2022.

 Assistant Curator of North American Anthropology and Archaeology

The Field Museum invites applications for the position of Assistant Curator of North American Anthropology and Archaeology, regional focus, and subfield specialization open, with an anticipated start date as early as the Summer of 2022. We seek a colleague who conducts collections and field-based research with a focus related to indigenous North America with the potential to address pressing questions of global importance.
