Curator (Contemporary), THE LOWRY

We are recruiting for a Curator of contemporary exhibitions and projects, working in both physical and digital environments, who would oversee all aspects of an exhibition's development, from research and development through to realisation and evaluation, while addressing the needs of The Lowry's target visitors. You will be required to liaise with artists and their representatives, institutions and stakeholders.

The British Museum is seeking a Digital Project Curator: EMKP to join the Africa Oceania and the Americas department. The main purpose of this role is to implement and influence the digital vision of the Endangered Material Knowledge Programme (EMKP) including digital preservation and curation of ethnographic resources in the EMKP repository, and to adhere to and develop best practices; To disseminate the work of EMKP to a global audience through public platforms (website, social media); To advise EMKP grantees and community in digital documentation and preservation; to advocate for the work of EMKP and the Museum through collaborations, research and dissemination.

The London Canal Museum is looking for an experienced Education Officer to develop, deliver and manage the education service at the museum. In this role the successful candidate will be the principal point of contact for any educational need at the museum, ranging from schools, family activities to managing education volunteers. The role will also involve managing your own diary and time with hours being worked on a flexible basis over the week to support the needs of the role. The role is 12 hours per week.
We are a waterways museum first and foremost, but also an industrial museum telling the story of the ice industry in London.
