Director of Knowledge & Engagement
At a time of refreshed ambition and direction, Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is looking for a new Director of Knowledge & Engagement to join its executive leadership team.
The Trust is an accredited museum, cares for and shares a Designated Collection with Shakespeare documents inscribed on the UNESCO International Memory of the World Register. The Trust is also one of Arts Council England's National Portfolio Organisations and is in the vanguard of delivering the Let's Create strategy, enabling it to focus more creatively on communities less engaged in arts, heritage, and culture.
Knowledge and engagement sit at the heart of the Trust's activity, and you will play a central role in leading the Trust across the fields of learning, collections, research and programming, ensuring that they are ambitious and impactful.

The Mosaic Rooms: Head of Communications
Working closely with a small and dynamic team, you will help realise our strategic vision at this ambitious time in our organisation, raising the profile of The Mosaic Rooms. You will communicate The Mosaic Rooms values and multidisciplinary programme offer to existing and new audiences on a local, national and international level, as well as to key collaborators and funders. Your work incorporates the full range of communication channels from press, web, social media and print. You will begin straight away with our 2022 programme of three contemporary art exhibitions (soon to be announced) and a blended programme of in gallery and online events.
Curator of Art and Visual Culture
Would you like to work with a world-class collection of art and visual culture? Can you communicate the history of art and contemporary art to non-specialist audiences?
The Science Museum Group (SMG) has world-class collections in Art and Visual Culture. To support the exhibition programme and development of the Museum's Art Collection (based at the Science Museum in London), we are now seeking an experienced curator with a strong knowledge of art, visual culture and an understanding of how to engage audiences.
As Curator of Art and Visual Culture, you will advise on display and preservation of new and existing artworks, as well as guide art commissioning across all the museums in the Science Museum Group. You will also with colleagues across SMG to explore and catalogue our existing scientific and technological art collections, creating opportunities for new digital access. You will work alongside other specialist curators in the museum's team, fostering links with external stakeholders, including other museums, artists and makers, and industry. You will also develop strategies for embedding our fine and contemporary art collections in SMG's forward programmes of temporary exhibitions and permanent galleries and ensure a presence for them in SMG's social and broadcast media outputs.
