Head of Patrons, VICTORIA & ALBERT MUSEUM

Main Purpose of Job
The Director's Circle and the Young Patrons' Circle generate vital unrestricted revenue for the V&A each year.

Research Manager, TATE
The Development Operations team is responsible for: data and financial management; research, due diligence and prospect management; supporter crediting and stewardship; strategy and business planning; team communications and Divisional administration.
We are looking for a Research Manager to provide high quality, robust and relevant prospect research. You will also conduct due diligence, deliver training, and identify new prospects for priority projects with a focus on high value fundraising.
Previous prospect research experience and strong writing skills will be central to help you manage a varied workload. You will be able to work independently as well as part of a team and bring a highly organised and flexible approach to the role.

Director of Research and Interpretation, TATE
As the new Director of Research and Interpretation you will work with colleagues to create an overarching vision for this division, which would include the existing strategy for Research and developing the strategy for interpretation resources for Tate's artistic programmes. You will lead and manage the Research and Interpretation team members and work closely with internal and external collaborators to deliver our ambition to create a thriving research community and offer best practice interpretation at Tate.
You will have substantial experience in and proven commitment to delivering excellence and innovation in research with an understanding of the requirements, challenges and opportunities relating to gallery interpretation. You will bring outstanding people management skills, with proven experience in leading teams as well as in delivering successful cross-organisational projects, with strategic leadership and change management experience.

Curator: Historic Furniture and Decorative Arts, HOUSE OF COMMONS
The Curator of the Historic Furniture and Decorative Arts Collection (HFDA) sits in the Heritage Collections Team (HCT) within Strategic Estates (SE). The HCT are responsible for the professional management of three collections of national and international importance: the Parliamentary Art Collection, the Historic Furniture and Decorative Arts Collection, and the Architectural Fabric Collection. This Team provides a bicameral service to the House of Commons and the House of Lords, and is responsible for all aspects of strategy, display, collections management, care and conservation, technical and procedural standards, documentation, loans and interpretation.
The Parliamentary Art Collection includes 10,000 artworks, the majority are on display across the Parliamentary Estate, and consists of paintings, sculpture, works on paper and other media ranging from ceramics to textiles, medals and political collectibles. The Historic Furniture and Decorative Arts collection includes 11,000 objects including historic furniture, clocks, silver and ceramics. It is a working collection with many objects in daily use across the Parliamentary Estate fulfilling the role for which they were designed and made. The Architectural Fabric Collection includes over 5,000 items which were commissioned for the Palace of Westminster but have been detached from the built fabric and historic interiors.
The Role
This is a new role within the Heritage Collections Team, reporting to the Keeper of Historic Furniture and Decorative Arts. The postholder will provide specialist and professional knowledge. They will lead on the research and interpretation of and access to the HFDA Collection, including cataloguing, reviewing and promoting the Collection. They will work closely and collaboratively with colleagues in other Parliamentary teams across both Houses and the R&R Programme Team.
The successful candidate must have planning and organisational skills to manage the multiple facets of this wide-ranging, curatorial role, and be able to focus on the detailed object information, interpretation and research requirements of the Collection, as well as the assimilation of the practical requirements into comprehensive, effective data to inform its future care. This post offers an exciting opportunity to build and influence the direction of the HFDA Collection, to ensure its safety, contribute to the success of a fulsome review of the collection, and ensure Parliament maintains its duty of care to the Collections.
Brunel Museum Reinvented Community Curator, BRUNEL MUSEUM
This role is the strategic lead for community engagement, in order to successfully achieve the museum's ambition to deliver an enhanced activities programme across the site, with the aim of transforming the visitor profile, and attracting a younger, more diverse audience to the museum.
This role will work directly with members of the local community to determine content for display in the transformed exhibition, including through the Museum on Tour programme and through co-curated exhibitions.
The Museum on Tour programme includes at least eight outreach visits a year to libraries, community centres and children's centres, helping to shape the content on display in the newly refurbished Museum.
Keeper of Scottish History and Archaeology, National Museums Scotland

Numbering over 12 million objects and built up over 200 years, this remarkable multi-disciplinary collection brings together natural sciences, decorative arts, design and fashion, world cultures, science technology, and Scottish history and archaeology.
Our Scottish history and archaeology collections, represent material culture of life in what is now Scotland from prehistory to the present day. We are looking to appoint an inspirational thought leader as Keeper of Scottish History and Archaeology to take forward our ambitions to re-write the material history of Scotland and to lead our team of expert curators. The Keeper will be responsible for leading and managing the development, organisation, preservation, and public access to the collections in the department, in support of the overall strategy and objectives of National Museums Scotland. The Keeper will also have oversight of the Treasure Trove Unit operations, managing the team, ensuring curatorial support and developing relationships with key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will bring an established profile, developed knowledge and enthusiasm for an area relevant to the National Museums' collections, and proven experience of contributing at a senior level, in a museum or other relevant environment.
